Week 1 - Playa del carmen, Mexico - Latin America
Overview:
Mexico - Yucatan - Playa del Carmen & Tulum
Head towars Oaxaca & mexico city
To Peru - lima, Cuzco, Inca trail
Chile or Bolivia, followed by Argentina - Mendoza, Puerto Moreno Glaciers - in El Calafate, Maybe Salta in the North & of course Buenos Aires, finishing off with Rio de Janerio for the Carnival maybe?
Week 1 - Playa del Carment - Hotel tortuga & spa. A holiday before the backpacking starts!

Thought I'd let you know I made it safe & sound, driver was there
when I arrived & got to the hotel within 45 mins.
My room is great, overlooking the pool.
I had a relaxing first day as it was cloudy, so started a new book on a
fancy sun bed under a palm tree!
It looked like rain was coming, so I headed to the nail bar to have a
manicure & pedicure - as I didn't have time to do mine before I went....
lucky as it turned out it poored with rain whilst I was in there for 2 hours.
About to go down to the pool / hot tub for a soak in the rain, it seems
to get dark here just as early as it does in London, even though it's only 7pm.
So I'm fine, not ventured to meeting anyone yet, enjoying a bit of
alone time, but may venture to the bar after my swim.
