Trek Madone 5.2 bike computers - Duotrap ANT+

I have a Polar CS200 on my other bike, which I love. I've used it for the last year for my triathlon training, the heart rate monitor & cadence measurement is a must to tell me if I'm really working hard, or if I just think I am!
I also used it for running. The great feature is that you can download the 7 stored training sessions via the microphone on your computer & the website www.polarpersonaltrainer.com is great to give you the stats of how you progress.
It's wireless, therefore there are no wires between the computer & the crank, but you still need cable ties to hold the two sensors.

I'd recommend it to anyone as it's great value for £80-100

I was really happy with it until I moved up a level & into bike porn (for me anyway)!
Now having a Trek Madone 5.2, I've moved into a new category of wanting .... wireless & no cable ties on my lovely bike!

This bike is Duotrap digital speed/cadence sensor ANT+
However, looking on the site, the Bontrager computers don't store training session - the Node 1 & Node 2 - don't have a function to download them to a training site. So I've been looking for other options.

My research has enlightened me to bike computers that I didn't even know about!
Garmin do ANT+ compatible computers. A cyclist friend of mine recommended Garmins.

I found a great review that compares the Forerunner 310XT & 910XT

£322 for Forerunner 910XT + HRM
This is the one I really want, it even measures your swimming stroke rate.

You need to buy a few extras with it though.

You still need the cadence ANT+ sensor if you want to know your cadence

£39 for the sensor that fits in the slot near the crank/pedals.

£31 - cadence / speed sensor @ Triton cycles  http://www.tritoncycles.co.uk/m2b195s301p5761/BONTRAGER_DuoTrap_Digital_Speed_Cadence_Sensor/RS_GB
It sounds like the sensor needs to be paired with the computerL

Expensive, but an amazing bit of kit, for all you data junkies out there!
